Classmates and their guests are invited and the cost will be $25 per
person, prepaid ($30 if your reservation is received after August 5th, 2002,
or at the door). No refunds after August 10th, 2002.
We had our first planning committee meeting in January and the classmates
attending that meeting decided to have a barbecue for our reunion, rather
than having the reunion catered, in order to keep the cost of the reunion
reasonable. We've decided to barbecue hamburgers, hot dogs and/or brauts,
marinated chicken wings, garden burgers for the vegetarians and also provide
salads, corn-on-the-cob, baked beans, cookies, and beer, wine, pop, and
bottled juices and water to drink.
Yearbook Update - A form is enclosed with the reservation materials, which
needs to be filled out, and you are encouraged to tell us about yourself and
what you have been doing these past 40 years. The response will be
photocopied and incorporated, just as you wrote it, into the booklet.
Photos, art work and illustrations are welcome. (Please use black ink).
$10.00 per booklet, if picked up at the reunion, $12.50 postage included, if
you are unable to attend the reunion and need to have the booklet mailed to
you.
Photos of the reunion will be available following the reunion. We will have
disposable cameras on the tables for taking candid shots, as well as pictures
taken with committee members' cameras, and you may pay $5 to have pictures
mailed to you following the reunion.
Please send cards, photos, or notes telling us about yourself to be displayed
at the reunion, if you are unable to attend, so that classmates who are
attending can find out what you are presently doing and be kept updated on
your life. We will miss you, if you are unable to attend, but we would love
to hear from you.
